Going to the library is something that we really enjoy. We love to be surrounded by books, we love to just sit and read one book after another.
We usually go to Bukit Batok Community Library that is located on the third floor of West Mall, next to Bukit Batok mrt station.
Bukit Batok Community Library is not too big but has a children area with a good collection of books, from baby books to books for early readers, story books to information books and children magazines.

Last weekend we went to Chinese Garden in Jurong East. I am going to write more about Chinese Garden later. Now I want to write about the turtle and tortoise museum that is located inside the garden. The “museum” is actually a shelter or sanctuary for turtles and tortoises, and it deserves its own post since the kids totally enjoyed the place. They couldn’t stop talking about it for a few days after we went there, and they are already asking us to please please please take them there again.
We like going to the playground! Lucky for us, in Singapore, there are countless free outdoor and indoor playgrounds. IMM playground is one of the best outdoor playgrounds, in our opinion.
IMM is an outlet mall located in Jurong East. We go there once a week for our grocery shopping, and we always make time to visit the playground.
